Adding Taxes

Here is where your taxes are shown on your online store to your customer.

1. Tax  The tax name and rate is shown to your customers when checking out.

You can add Taxes to products you sell based on the buyer's location.

For example if you wanted to setup two different tax rates in Canada, one for Ontario the other for Quebec,
you would enter in the tax rate for Ontario and select Ontario and Canada, then click 'Insert'.
Then you would enter in the tax rate for Quebec and select Quebec and Canada, then click 'Insert'.

To do this, go to the top menu Your Store and click on Taxes.

1. Tax Name  Enter the name of the tax, or a way to describe it. Example: 'HST'. Your visitors and customers will not see this.

2. Tax Rate  Enter the tax rate, as a percent.

3. Country  Select the country that this tax applies to.

4. Province  Select the province that this tax applies to.

5. Click on the 'Insert' button to add your Tax. It will then go into the table on the right, where you can edit it.
