How To Password Protect A Page & Make It Part Of Your Members Section

You can password protect pages on your website for use in a members section, or just to protect your content. You can setup a paid membership site by selling memberships in your Income Activator online store.

You can setup your password protected pages to allow anyone who registeres access, or so that you must manually approve each member before they gain Access.

When a visitor logs into your Member's Page or Section, a yellow bar will appear at the top of your Website under your menu bar to let them know they've logged in.

1. Select Page Select a Page by checking it off, this Page is going to become Password Protected.

2. Dropdown From this dropdown menu, select 'Password Protect A Page'.

3. Go Click the 'Go' button. 
 
 

How To Password Protect A Page

When a Member logs into your Member's Page or Section they will see a yellow bar at the top of your Website under the menu bar. They can now access all of the Password Protected Pages on your Website.

1. (Password Protected) will appear under the Pages on your Website that are part of your Member's section. When a Visitor goes to your Password Protected Pages they will be shown a Login form, not your content
 

How To Password Protect A Page So That Visitors Must Be Approved To View It

You can choose who to allow access into the password protected section of your website. You can either allow visitors to access your pages right after entering their name and email or manually approve each visitor. This means you would go into the member section and personally click to activate the members before they have access to all password protected pages on your website.

To set up a page so that visitors must be approved by you before they view your pages, click on the Page Title to edit it.

1. Password Protect This checkbox allows you to enable and disable the password protection on this page.

2. Visitor Approval  If you want your visitors to be able to access your password protected pages without your approval, uncheck this box.

Note: If you want to allow visitor access without your approval, skip step 3.

3. Members Allowed Check off the members that should have access to view this page.

4. Save Click on the 'Save' button.

Other Member Resources

Now that you've created password protected pages, you can view the visitors that register by going to the top menu 'Members'. You can also manually add visitors or members from there.
