Flat rate shipping means your customer will pay the same shipping cost no matter how large their order is.

Flat rate shipping options allow your visitor to select their option when checking out.

Free Shipping  To offer free you need to set up a flat rate shipping option with a cost of $0

How To Setup Flat Rate Shipping

A flat rate is where the customer pays one shipping cost for the entire order. You can setup flat rate shipping based on countries and provinces or states.

You can add different flat rate options for priority shipping, for example: 'Next Day Air' or 'Ground Shipping'.

Your flat rate shipping options will appear in a dropdown menu when your customer is checking out. To enter in multiple shipping options you need to enter them in one at a time.

1. Shipping Option  Enter in the shipping option you want to make available to your visitors to select to have their products sent to them. You have to provide options to customers in all locations such as Canada, United States, International. You have the option of entering the fee here too to show your customers how much each option costs, otherwise they will see the cost in the next step.

Free Shipping To offer free shipping, enter $0 for the fee, then select the locations that you offer free shipping to. If its all locations select 'All Provinces & States', then select 'All Countries'.

Call For Shipping  To offer an option that tells customers to call you for a shipping quote, enter $0 for the fee, then select the locations you offer this If its all locations select 'All Provinces & States', then select 'All Countries'.

Fee Enter the flat shipping fee for this shipping option. This fee will be shown to the customer after they select the shipping option. You have the option of typing this fee into the shipping option field above as the fee is not shown to the customer until the next step after they choose a shipping option. When you type in the fee as part of your shipping option description you will be able to show them how much each option costs before they select it. For a free shipping option, enter in 0.

3. Province  If this shipping option applies to either all the provinces or states, select 'All Provinces & States'. Select which province/state this shipping option you typed in above applies to. This shipping option will show to visitors that are from the province/state you selected. You can have shipping options apply to specific provinces or states but you need to add each province or state individually. To do that you need to enter in the shipping option for every province or state. An example of when to setup a shipping option for a province is if you wanted to charge more to customers living in Alaska.

4. Country Select which country this shipping option you typed in above applies to. This shipping option will show to visitors that are from the country you selected. To provide a worldwide shipping option, select 'All Countries'.
