Setting Your Default Search To Google

This help page will show you how to allow your Internet Explorer address bar to also do a Google search if you type in search terms instead of a website address.
 

Opening Internet Options

Open Internet Explorer to begin. 
 
1. Click on 'Tools'.

2. Click on 'Internet Options'

1. Click on 'Settings' to the left of Search.

1. Click on Google to select it.

2. Click on 'Set As Default'.

3. Click on 'Close'.

Now you can type your searches in your address bar, instead of having to go to Google.com every time.


Setting Your Home Page In Internet Explorer

Here's how to set which page opens up when you first open Internet Explorer. You can have it open to Google, your website, or anywhere else.

1. Tools: On the top menu, click on 'Tools'.

2. Internet Options: In the menu that opens, click on 'Internet Options'.

1. Home Page: At the top in the 'Home Page' box you can enter one website address, or multiples separated with commas.
For example: https://www.incomeactivator.com, http://www.Google.com, http://www.CNN.com.

2. Ok: Click on 'Ok' to save your changes. The next time you open Internet Explorer, it will go to your new page(s).
