What Your Account Comes With

Your account comes with the things needed to test your store.

Start by going to 'Online Store' on the top menu, then click on 'Payment Options'.

This page allows you to offer up to 4 payment options for your store, as well as customize the Thank You Page that your visitors see after a purchase.

Your account automatically accepts Check and Telephone Payments, we recommend using these until you setup your PayPal and Credit Card payment options.
 
1. Phone Payments Your online store automatically accepts payments over the phone so your visitors can call you up with their credit card information to pay for their order.
You can disable this by unchecking the checkbox and deleting the text in the text box.

2. Check Payments Your online store also automatically accepts check payments, where your visitor mails you a check to pay for their order.
You can disable check payments by unchecking the checkbox and deleting the text in the text box.

3. Thank You Pay  Your online store comes with a premade Thank You Page. You can customize the content in this page anytime.



Your account also comes with a test product.

Go to 'Online Store' on the top menu, then click on 'Products'.

This page allows you to create products to sell in your online store.

1. Test eBook Product  This product comes with your account. This product allows you to test your store process as well as payment options.
When testing your credit card or PayPal payments, you'll only be charged $0.01.

This product also has a very useful eBook attached to it 'How To Write & Sell An eBook On Income Activator'.

This product will show you how your visitors buy an eBook from your store, at the end of your test you'll receive the eBook to help you get started on writing and selling your own eBook.

You can click on the product's title to edit it, but we don't recommend editing the test product.

2. View  Click on the 'View' link to view the product details of your test product. Your visitors will not see your product unless you put it in a product category and attach that category to a page.

 

Product Details

This is the product details page for your test product, your real store products will have a different picture content.
 
1. Product Image  This is product image that comes with your test product.

2. Add To Cart  Click on the 'Add To Cart' button to add this product to your online shopping cart.


Your Shopping Cart

This is the online shopping cart page that shows your visitors what they are about to buy, and allows them to change the quantity of products they are buying.
 
1. Products In Cart This table shows the products in your shopping cart.

2. Contact Information This is where your visitor enters their name, email, and telephone number. Since this is an eBook, your website doesn't ask for a shipping address.
Enter your information, including your correct email address because it will receive information on downloading the eBook.

3. Continue To Checkout Click on the 'Continue To Checkout' button to proceed to the order summary page.


Order Summary Page

This is where your visitor review's their order, sends you an optional message, and chooses a payment option.
 
1. Optional Message Your visitors can include a message or request with their order by entering in this box.
Enter some text here so you can see where it shows up later.

2. Totals  This area shows your visitors their subtotal, taxes (not shown), shipping (not shown), and is also where they enter a promotional code when you set one up.

3. Payment Options  This is where your visitors selects how they are going to pay for their order. After selecting check and telephone payments, your visitor is sent to your Thank You Page.
Check at the bottom of this page for the process when your visitor selects PayPal and Credit Card payments.

4. Continue To Payment Click on the 'Continue To Payment' page to complete your test order.


Thank You Page

This is the thank you page your visitor will see after payment. You can customize it from the Payment Options page you saw earlier.
 
1. Order # This order number is used for reference if a visitor wants to contact you regarding their order. The order number is also used along with an email address to login to your website to download an eBook if the product had a file attached to it.
You'll see how we login to download your eBook soon.


Viewing Your Store Orders

To view the orders made through your online store, as well as view your test order, go to the top menu 'Your Store', then click on 'Orders'.
 
1. Order Your orders will show up in the table to the right. Click on the order number to review the order details.
The order details will appear on the left.

2. Order Status  The order status shows the payment status of the order. When your visitor pays with PayPal or a credit card, the status will automatically be set to 'Paid'.
The status will say 'Unpaid' when a visitor pays with check or telephone payments, you need to manually set the status to 'Paid' once the check clears or you get a phone call with the person's payment information.

You won't receive your eBook until you set the status to 'Paid' on your test order, so do that now.

3. Update  Click on the 'Update' button to save your change and send yourself the email with the eBook download instructions.


Order Confirmation Emails

Once an order is made on your website, two emails are automatically sent out to you and your customer.

Since you are both the website owner and customer when testing, you'll receive both emails.

Since this order is for an eBook, the shipping and billing addresses will not show because the customer was never asked for this information.

This is the email you will receive when a customer makes an order through your store.

This email is sent to your customer after they order.

Downloadable File Email

Once an order that contains an eBook is set to 'Paid', this email is sent to your customer.
 
Since your test product is an eBook, you should have received this email.
1. Email  The customer's is used to login to your website to download the eBook.

2. Order # The customer's order number is used along with the email to login.

3. Login Link  This is the link on your website that your customers will use to login. This will be shown as http://www.YourDomain.com/clientlogin.aspx.

Click on this link to go to your website's login page.


Download Area

Once you login you'll come to this page which shows you all of the eBooks you've bought from your website.

In this case its just your test eBook.

Each downloadable eBook will have a download link, product picture, and the product details.
 
1. Download Link Click on this link to download the eBook.

Now that you've seen how your store functions, you can begin to setup your PayPal and credit card options and test those.


Visitors Paying With PayPal

Once you setup PayPal it in the Payment Options page, you can use test your store by buying your test product.

Since your test product only costs a penny, you will only be charged $0.01 per test.

1. PayPal This is how the PayPal option appears.

2. Continue To Payment When you click this button, you'll be redirected to PayPal to login to your PayPal account and make a payment.


PayPal

Once you are sent to PayPal you can use your personal account to test a payment to your business account, or ask a friend to test a payment using their PayPal account. 

Your customer will login to their account, pay you, then return to see your Thank You Page.


Visitors Paying With Credit Card'

Once you setup a credit card merchant and enable it in the Payment Options page, you can use test your store by buying your test product.

Since your test product only costs a penny, you will only be charged $0.01 per test.
 
1. Credit Card This is how the credit card option appears. 

2. Continue To Payment When you click this button, you'll be sent to the page to enter your credit card number.


Credit Card Payment Page

When your customers select to pay with credit card, or when you're testing credit card payments, this page will appear.

This is where customers enter their credit card numbers and billing address.

After clicking 'Complete Order' your visitor will be sent to your thank you page and the order will automatically be marked as 'Paid'.

When To Test

You should do a test purchase...
 
1. Every time you add a new payment option.

2. Every time you add a new shipping option.

3. After setting up taxes.

4. After adding your eBook.
